NE1 Electrical was set up in 2019 by Rob McGowan to give Newcastle a straightforward, reliable electrician: someone who answers the phone, turns up when they say, explains things in plain English and does the job properly.
We're based in Newcastle upon Tyne and work across the whole city, Gateshead and Tyne and Wear. Our work covers domestic, landlord, commercial and industrial installations, from a single socket to full rewires, consumer unit upgrades, EICRs and EV chargers.
How we work
- You speak to the electrician, not a call centre
- A fixed price before any work starts
- Everything tested and certified to the current Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Notifiable work registered with Building Control through NAPIT
- A 100% satisfaction guarantee and a 5-year labour guarantee on new installations
Training the next generation
We take on apprentices and support electrical students in Newcastle, because the trade only stays good if experienced electricians pass on what they know.
