At NE1 Electrical, your trusted family-run electricians in Newcastle, we’ve always believed in more than just fixing faults and fitting fixtures—we believe in building careers, passing down expertise, and nurturing the next generation of local electricians. Today we’re delighted to officially introduce Layton, our brand-new Electrical Apprentice, as he takes his first steps into the trade and joins the NE1 Electrical family.
Why Electrical Apprenticeships Are So Important
Apprenticeships are the backbone of the electrical industry. They bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world experience, combining technical theory with hands-on practice—all while earning as you learn. For us, taking on an electrical apprentice in Newcastle isn’t just about growing our team; it’s about preserving high standards, prioritising safety, and investing in the future of our city. A good apprenticeship means: Learning from qualified, experienced electricians with years of local service Working towards nationally recognised electrical qualifications Mastering safe, compliant workmanship on every job Building the reliability and integrity that local Newcastle homes and businesses deserve
This is how we ensure top-quality electrical services in Newcastle for many years to come.
